We would like to reassure our clients and their families that Henley Beach Physiotherapy is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Please see a brief summary below.
The wellbeing of our people, clients and their families is a priority during this time and we have been monitoring the situation closely, with information from the Australian Government, the World Health Organization and state and territory health authorities, as well as taking industry specific advice from the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Henley Beach Physiotherapy is currently taking the following steps in response to the evolving COVID-19 situation:
- Our team’s continuation of their usual strict hand hygeine and infection control procedures. Our staff undertake annual Hand Hygiene training as part of their employment.
- Monitoring and screening staff travel in line with current travel advice.
- Providing our staff and clients with information around how to keep up-to-date with the latest advice.
We are working hard to minimise any potential disruption or inconvenience to our clients, and we will be in touch as appropriate. For now, we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS as usual – however we ask that if you (or anyone in your household) have shown any of the signs and symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection that you DO NOT ATTEND your appointment and seek medical attention consistent with the current advice. We will not currently be enforcing any late cancellation fees.
Additionally, with the updated travel advice announced on Sunday 15th March, if you have recently returned from overseas you will be required to self-isolate for 14 days after your return. We also ask that you DO NOT ATTEND your appointment during this quarantine period.
